A few months ago I wrote a post about local flower farms to visit this summer. Well, I took my own advice and made the drive to Wickham farms located in Penfield, NY. This was my first time there and I was so happy I made the trip. The farm is located about 90 minutes from Buffalo and is an easy ride. I pre-purchased my ticket online for Opening day. No no need to print your ticket ahead of time, just show it on your phone!

Some things to know before you go:

The farm is open Thursday through Sunday
Open from 10 am to 7 pm
Located at 1315 Sweets Corners Road, Penfield, NY 14526
Weekday tickets are $12 and weekend tickets are $17 if purchased online
If you’d prefer to purchase in person, weekday tickets are $14 and weekend tickets are $19
Included with your ticket is access to the lavender, photo ops and farm attractions
For $10 you can cut your own bunch of lavender
Lavender Days will run from the end of June through July 18, 2021
Definitely stop at the Shakes and Cakes Barn for the Summer Shake Up! It’s filled with strawberry slushee, vanilla ice cream, fresh strawberries and topped with a house made blueberry donut.

** I also stopped at Schutts Apple Mill since I was so close. Located about 6 minutes from Wickham Farms, this is the perfect stop to grab everything apple related. Be sure to get the Apple Frost, especially if it’s a hot day!

Currently in season for U-Pick are raspberries and cherries will begin on June 27, 2021.
